Where will my child be staying?

BrightPath Care Services offers flexible and personalised accommodation options for your child’s stay.

Your child can stay at one of our properties, travel to another city for a hotel experience, participate in a camp, or stay with a trusted “host” family. Whether your child receives one-on-one support or shares their experience with others with similar interests and needs, we tailor the stay to suit your family’s goals.

We work closely with families to maintain strong connections throughout the stay and ensure that your child continues progressing toward their NDIS goals.

Before finalising any arrangements, we always consult with families and seek approval to guarantee that you’re confident in the plan and that your child’s safety and comfort are prioritised.

Does NDIS fund Specialised Substitute Residential Care?

Yes, NDIS funding can be used for Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC). It can cover accommodation, daily living support, and other necessary care, ensuring participants can continue working towards their goals in a safe, supportive environment. This flexibility allows families to choose the care that best meets their child’s needs while maintaining safety and well-being.

How much will Specialised Substitute Residential Care cost, and what is included in the service provided?

The cost of Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) services will depend on factors such as the duration of stay, the day of the week (e.g. weekdays, weekends, or public holidays), and the type of care selected. For instance, a stay at one of our properties will generally be more affordable than a short holiday stay at a hotel.

Our SSRC service costs cover essential support, including accommodation, meal preparation, transport, attending scheduled hobbies or appointments, and help with school attendance.
